about

20th anniversary remaster!

HiHelloHi,

Cities Filled With Lights was recorded around 1999; I gave it to friends in 2000, and it was released commercially in 2001 (thank you Stephanie!).

It’s always been a confusing album for me. On the one hand, I am extremely proud of it; on the other hand, it was a very difficult time in my life. Listening to it again releases powerful, heavy memories.

Due to boring audio details I won’t get into, I have always wanted to remaster the album, and I’m freakin delighted this remaster has come to pass in honor of its 20th anniversary.

—Matthew
